Bishop Marquez Alexander
Bishop Marquez Alexander has dedicated his entire life to the ministry. As a child before his feet could even touch the floor from the bench he sat upon in church. He was making a joyful noise unto the lord beating the drums. From there one day in a Sunday morning service, his father was playing a guitar that he sat down for a moment and when he returned to his amazement his young son was playing the guitar like he had been playing it for years. Right away people began to take notice of the anointing and God given talents this man of God possessed. Years later he became a gifted keyboard player as well as the Minister of Music. Finally, at the tender age of 22 to the amazement of no one in a most extraordinary encounter, God called Bishop Alexander to carry the precious word of God to the nations. He has passionately and relentlessly carried God’s word ever since. Bishop Marquez Alexander currently serves as Senior Pastor of Victory Temple and also serves as the Assistant Senior Bishop of The Whole World of Truth Inc. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Bishop Roosevelt and Ernestine Alexander. He has five brothers and two sisters; he is the graduate of Bay High School where he starred as an Athlete on the Varsity Basketball Team. Bishop Alexander wedded Elect Lady Amanda Alexander January 29, 2000. They have shared 17 wonderful years of marriage. Elect Lady Amanda Alexander is truly the epitome of a virtuous woman. She stands by her husband’s side, and serves the people of God with all her heart. They are truly a power couple. They have 1 daughter Patience Alexander and two sons Nathan and David Alexander. Bishop Alexander has a true love for the word of God and the people of God. He constantly stays before God in studying and prayer. His mission as he preaches and teaches God’s word in numerous revivals and conferences is to empower the people of God and arm them with a word that will impact their lives and literally bring change to their situation
